<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article presents current data on the study of genetic adaptations in the parasite-host system in human malaria. In particular, the work is devoted to the analysis of some epigenetic mechanisms of antigenic variability of plasmodia, that ensure their survival and adaptation in the host organism.
