Imported cases of malaria in Tomsk region in 2021-2022

Abstract

Clinical and epidemiological characteristics of cases of imported malaria in Tomsk region are given. The reasons for late diagnostics, connected with the treatment on the 3rd-5th days, the doctors' lack of vigilance concerning malaria, the untimely treatment are considered. For the purpose of differential diagnosis it is necessary to take into account the patient's stay in the endemic territory.
