Основные направления и проблемы разработки вакцины против Toxoplasma gondii

Аннотация
Известно, что Toxoplasma gondii вызывает врожденную инфекцию у людей, животных и тяжелое заболевание у лиц с ослабленным иммунитетом. Поэтому разработка вакцин против паразита необходима. Несмотря на значительные успехи в разработке эффективных вакцин против токсоплазмоза, поиск новых стратегий вакцинации остается сложной задачей. За последние несколько лет различные экспериментальные подходы показали, что разработка вакцины против T. gondii возможна. В этом обзоре кратко излагаются достижения в разработке вакцин против T. gondii и основные препятствия на пути создания безопасной, эффективной и стандартизированной вакцины. Также обсуждаются успехи и неудачи в разработке и тестировании вакцин-кандидатов.
