Abstract
In the period 2016-2022, 351 fecal samples of the Bering Arctic fox were studied (winter season - 96 samples, summer - 173, spring - 82) and 11 intestinal samples using the method of incomplete helminthological dissections, as well as 104 specimens of red-backed vole liver (24 specimens were caught in the autumn). winter period, 80 - in summer). The infestation of the Arctic fox with E. multilocularis, according to the results of fecal ovoscopy, ranges from 20-21% in the spring-winter to 1.3% in the summer, according to the results of the autopsy - 18.2%, with very low rates of invasion intensity. Infection of voles with E. multilocularis larvocysts 14.4%. Bering Island can be considered endemic for E. multilocularis, where the natural island focus of the pathogen operates stably.
