Abstract
At the present stage, the effective system of maternity and childhood protection of the Mongolian People's Republic functions thanks to the invested work of Soviet doctors. The article provides updated information about the first pediatrician of Mongolia, a Soviet doctor, a representative of the Buryat people Sergi-Mydyk Tsyrendorzhievna Dasheeva.
